Personality Sketch
In my personality sketch I described how fun at times I can be. For my example I
talked about how I had my 14th birthday as a house party. Where I talked about me,
being a fun host.
Final Drafts of Pattern Poem
The first poem I did was A Loving Grandma which used a template “Miss Rosie”.
It was about my wonderful Grandma Vicky. The second poem I made was Wise Woman
which used the template of "Troubled Woman" the poem. My poem Wise Woman was
talking about my wise with age Great Grandma.
Book Review posted on MBC
The book I read for my book review was Sent By, Margaret Peterson
Haddix. In my book report I explained the basic plot, my thoughts on the book (goods
and bads), and who I thought should be the overall readers. What I thought was good
about the book was that it was very detailed, wounded, and well written. What I thought
was the worst point of the book was, how long it was. If that stopped the descriptive
language I would take that comment back. The age range for this book I thought would
be from 7th grade to 11th grade. Although I thought it could be also be read as a quick
read for an adult.
Which piece do you feel is your strongest piece of writing? What do
you feel is strongest about it?
I feel that my poem A Loving Grandma was my best piece of writing. Because I
have a very strong connection to my grandma. She can be a role model for any body,
she's always sacrificing her time, money, love, ect. She is the best grandma I could ask
for.
Which piece do you feel is your weakest piece of writing? Why did
you choose this one?
I think my weakest price was my personality sketch. Because it was my first
writing piece of the year. I started with not enough thoughts. Witch made it title
unorganized.
What writing goals do you have for yourself for the upcoming
quarter? Explain how you would like to see your writing skills
improve. Be specific.
1) A goal of mine would to keep my high grades and try always. To give in quality work
not just lazy work.
2) To not procrastinate and be ready for when I need to start the project.
3) I would love to get to be complimented on how thoughtful and put out my writing
pieces are.
